Hey guys and gals, this christmas i received a new Ryobi powertool set from my father in law to replace my old craftsman set. but the old craftsman set still works perfectly. its their 19v C3 kit and I have a circular saw, 2 drills, a quarter inch impact, sawsal, flashlight, 2 batteries and 2 chargers, and a carrying case and was wondering if any oppos in the chicagoland area needed some new to them powertools. id be willing to give a generous oppo discount if anyones interested. basically just to get them all out of my garaged id sell everything for 60 bucks

its basically that set but with an added drill and impact and the flashlight looks a bit different. but everything is in good working order. one of the drills does have some spray paint on it but still works great.

I have the 19v impact and some older 18v tools. I really like the impact, even if it is down on torque compared to the Milwaukee and Makita offerings. Honestly, its enough for me, i have little use for 700+ ftlbs.

My biggest fault is their size. Everything is 50% bigger than the competition. Its not a big deal for my impact, but its a pain the ass for my drill.

yeah i really liked them but craftsman moved over to a 24v system so its hard to find the 18/19v tools anymore. so my FIL decided to just get me te ryobi stuff since thats what he has

I’ve been wanting to make the switch myself. I’ll probably go Milwaukee or Makita though. So many more options.

I made the switch myself from C raftsman to Ryobi this Christmas. Home Depot had a killer sale on t heir stuff. I almost went with Makita, but since I don’t work with these tools for a living I couldn’t justify the extra cost.

Enjoy the new tools, I’ve already used several of mine and found the cordless jigsaw to be super useful!
